Crowfoot Pass - Inge & Henry Stolz and Carol spent the day skiing a counter clockwise loop up to Crowfoot Pass and then down a creek drainage.

Skiing across the meadows from the Icefields Parkway. We headed into the trees and then turned left under the cliff bands. The Crowfoot Glacier is on the right side of the picture.

I couldn't resist skiing down this slope before heading on towards the pass. It was probably the best skiing of the day.

Views to the south.

We had a lovely lunch in the sun

I guess I forgot to take pictures from the pass and then the skiing was so much fun coming down the creek drainage there just wasn't time to stop for pictures. Here we've reached the bottom and now must cross the creek and make our way through the trees and back to the car. The smiles say it all.

Dolomite Pass - Sheila & Sebastian Powell and Carol did a trip up to Dolomite Pass the next day. Skiing was reasonable, but there was certainly some sun crust to deal with. Everyday is a good day.

This picture is taken from Dolomite Pass. Across the valley you can see Crowfoot Pass where we were skiing the day before.
