Headway Systems: Gulf Islands Cycling

Vic Panei and Ursula Wohlfarth organized a cycling trip to the Gulf and San Juan Islands. They were met by Betty and John Alliston, Roy Scarisbrick and Carol Guthrie in Sydney, B.C. We were joined by Bill and Jean Waddell for the US Islands. Due to the ferry schedules we found it easier to make a base in Sydney and do day trips to the various islands. DAY 1 PENDER ISLAND CANADA UNITED STATES Day 1 - Pender Islands Day 4 - San Juan Island Day 2 - Mayne Island Day 5 - Orcas Island Day 3 - Shawnigan Lake Day 6 - San Juan Island Day 7 - Lopez Island Day 8 - Return to Sydney and cycle to Victoria


We met at the Sydney ferry terminal and prepared for our first day of cycling.	Making minor adjustments to the bikes while we wait for the ferry.
